The fine print

Privacy policy

Keepsworth sells binders for your family’s most private information, so we hold ourselves to the standard we’d want from anyone near it. The short version: we collect the minimum, we sell nothing, and what you write in your printed binder never touches our servers at all.

What we collect

When you buy: checkout is processed entirely by Stripe. We receive your email address and order details (what you bought, when, for how much) so we can deliver your files and honor the guarantee. We never see or store your card number.

When you join a list: if you request the free ICE kit or register a copy, we store your email address (and your yes/no answer to the digital-copy question) with MailerLite, our email provider, so we can send what you asked for.

When you browse: we use Cloudflare Web Analytics (cookieless, anonymous page counts only) and PostHog to see which pages and products people look at, so we can improve them. Neither uses advertising cookies or cross-site tracking, and PostHog never receives your email address.

About PostHog: PostHog is hosted in the United States (PostHog US Cloud). For visitors outside Europe it records page views, clicks, and short session replays, a playback of how a page was used, so we can spot what confuses people. In those replays everything typed into a form field is masked before it leaves your browser, as are order emails shown on screen. We never record your account page, download links, partner stats pages, or anything on the admin side. Replays are used to fix the site, not to identify anyone, and we do not link them to your name or email.

How to opt out of PostHog: we honor the browser signals made for this. If your browser sends Global Privacy Control or Do Not Track, PostHog switches to a bare-bones mode: no replays, no click tracking, no cookies, and nothing saved on your device, just an anonymous page count. The same bare-bones mode applies to everyone browsing from the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or Switzerland, and to anyone whose location we cannot work out. You can turn on Global Privacy Control in Firefox, Brave, DuckDuckGo, and many privacy extensions, or turn on Do Not Track in your browser settings. Blocking PostHog with a content blocker works too, and nothing on the site depends on it.

Advertising: if you see a small banner offering advertising cookies, that controls three optional pixels: Meta (Facebook/Instagram), Pinterest, and Google Ads. These help us see whether an ad brought you here and to reach similar people. They stay off until you say yes, and you can change your mind any time by clearing your browser's site data for keepsworth.com (which resets the banner) or by emailing us. When they do run, we hash your email address with SHA-256 before it ever leaves your browser if we send it for ad matching. The platforms never see the address itself, and we never send it unhashed.

What we do with it

  • Deliver your files and receipts (Stripe for payments, Resend for email delivery).
  • Send the emails you signed up for: free kit, lifetime updates, occasional product news. Every email has an unsubscribe link that works instantly.
  • Keep an order record so “resend my files” and refunds work.
  • Understand which pages and ads work, so we can spend less on marketing that doesn't.

What we will never do

  • Sell, rent, or share your email or order history with anyone for marketing.
  • Ask you to upload the contents of your filled-in binder. (What you write stays on your paper. That’s the design.)
  • Send an unhashed email address to an advertising platform.
  • Send you fear-based marketing. Not our style.

Where it lives & how long

Order records live in our Cloudflare infrastructure; email lists live in MailerLite; payment records live in Stripe; browsing analytics and session replays live in PostHog (United States) and Cloudflare Web Analytics; ad-pixel data (only if you've said yes) lives with Meta, Pinterest, and Google. We keep order records as long as we need to honor lifetime updates and tax obligations. Ask us to delete your data at any time and we will, everywhere we control it.

Your rights

Email hello@keepsworth.com to access, correct, or delete your data, or to ask anything this page didn’t answer. A human reads every message.
